In 1977 Jane Bell began a path of exploring consciousness through meditation.

In 1989, the depth of her spiritual practice shifted her priorities and she quit her corporate life in search of her path.

      In 1992 she had a psychic reading with David Groode, a well-known San Francisco Bay Area intuitive. At the time, she and her husband were in dire financial straits as a result of the shifting economy and her leaving her job. It seemed that they were on a crash course when David told her that she was to go to Egypt and work with the goddess Sekhmet. Nothing in the reading spoke to her practical side, but something inside her felt the rightness of what he said.   A week after the reading, she called her best friend in London to wish her a happy birthday. During the conversation she mentioned the reading and the trip to Egypt, and without a hesitation the money was offered.  The gift transformed Jane’s life as she made the first of 35 trips to Egypt over17 years.  During that first trip, she experienced an epiphany at Luxor Temple that parted the veils and Jane realized Egypt was calling her to her work, which began a period of inquiry into the realms of the Egyptian Mysteries studying alchemical healing and the pantheon of Egypt.  She also met her Egyptian soul brothers Mohamed Nazmy and Emil Shaker.  So moved by their generosity and love of Egypt, she encouraged Mohamed to open Quest Travel, now the most important travel company for metaphysical and sacred sites travel in Egypt.

      Inspired by her love of Egypt and her desire to serve, Jane opened her home in 1994 as a healing center.  She wrote 50 letters to friends inviting them to pray, meditate, and offer healing, but realized that she would do the work even if no one came.  The Healing Circle was held twice a month for 4 years and while it began with a few, it ended with sometimes 50 people coming to build this sacred community.  Out of this group grew the Egyptian travelers that journeyed to Egypt with Jane and Nicki Scully of Shamanic Journeys.

      But like most lives nothing is ever linear or planned out.  Always seeking new ways to discover truth, Jane learned about a powerful process called Focusing. It was a way to listen to the body and its source of wisdom for personal growth and self-inquiry. She began to study the process after having a remarkable session with her teacher and now colleague Ann Weiser Cornell.  In 1996 Jane became a Focusing Trainer offering private sessions as well as classes.  She realized that unless someone’s body is open for transformation and available for healing, most healing techniques will only have a temporary effect.  It greatly impacted the way she worked with people.

      The Focusing work lead to developing a body of work on Manifestation.  Since 1996 countless students and clients have worked with Jane learning how to use clarity, the wisdom of their bodies and metaphysical principles to bring their lives into alignment with their destinies.  People have come to her for relationships, careers, money and removing whatever obstacles and patterns that block their way in receiving the gifts of this life.

      In 1997 in Egypt Jane went through a dark night of the Soul.  The depth of the journey brought her to her spiritual teacher and guide Leslie Temple Thurston of Corelight.  Leslie became a guiding light in Jane’s transformation.  In August of 1999 Jane took Leslie and 10 others into the Great Pyramid for a meditation and healing of the planet during the solar eclipse. Leslie then took Jane and her husband Gary to South Africa, Leslie’s home country, where they purchased property in the Blyde River Canyon.  Inspired by South Africa, Jane and Gary have built a home there with others from Corelight creating a conscious community.  Called by the cry of AIDS orphans, Leslie founded Seeds of Light, a project that supports five AIDS orphanages and programs in South Africa. Inspired by the need Gary and Jane built middle income and low income housing in their town to help bring homes and prosperity to this new and struggling country.

      In 2003 Jane began her studies with Faisal Muqqadam and the Diamond Logos work expanding her map of consciousness for herself and her clients.  She is also working with Lama Palden, an ordained Tibetan Buddhist lama who started and heads The Sukhasiddhi, Foundation, dedicated to furthering the teachings of the divine feminine in Buddhism.

      Jane is a spiritual teacher and counselor who is constantly working with others to better serve spirit and mankind. She believes that traveling to sacred sites and working with people not only transforms your life, but transforms world consciousness. She is available for Focusing and manifesting sessions, spiritual counseling and healing, workshops, rituals and ceremonies as a minister in the Universal Brotherhood Movement, Inc.  She is working on a book on Manifesting and has a chapter coming out in the book The Modern Day Alchemist due out in January 2010.
